To maintain a safe group environment, dogs must be friendly with other dogs, non-aggressive toward people, comfortable travelling in a vehicle & healthy enough to keep up with the off-lead exploration. We complete a complimentary meet & greet before joining regular bookings to ensure the right fit for both your dog and the pack. This allows our Auckland dog walkers to build stable social groups and reliable behaviour over time.

In 2016 Seven Sharp approached CityPets about running a story on our innovative approach to dog walking and the impact it was having on Auckland dogs. Keen to spend time with the dogs, Michael Holland joined the pack as we hit the beach and took to the forestry.

Our wilderness dog walking service is for fit, healthy dogs who love a high-speed chase with their pack mates, a plunge into west coast waves, a wholehearted run through forestry pines, or a hike to the top of a mountain.

Our dog walking handlers use a structured approach to pack management, focusing on calm, engaged and socially harmonious packs

Dog packs are handpicked according to breed, energy levels and temperament. Locations are varied according to weather conditions, seasons and suitability.

All City Pets dog walking packs are up to 12 dogs, with free pick-up & drop-off throughout Auckland.
