Meet & greets are completely complimentary, there for us to get to know your dog before joining our adventure dog walks
Kerry & Mila
Our 5 year old lab has been having weekly adventures for the past 4 years and loves everything about it, her handler, different venues. I find the administrative side of the business easy to work with and receptive to any queries. At the end of the day it is comforting knowing she is with people that love her as much as we do.
Nicky & Jack
The CityPets team are all awesome and our doggo has the best time every day he goes out with them! He comes back super happy and nicely tired out. We get fantastic photos from the adventure walks as well. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to give their pooch some time out in nature with like-minded companions!
Anna & Rocket
The CityPets team are incredibly caring, always professional, kind and knowledgeable. Their customer service and communication is the best around. We had some training issues when our dog first started in the pack and through the years Flash, Taylor and the team have coached, supported and been there for us, passing on all their knowledge.
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When do your walks take place?
Our pack walks run Monday to Friday Between 7 am – 3 pm. We’ll collect your dog while you’re at work, running errands, or simply relaxing at home. We handle the pick-up and drop-off, so your dog gets their adventure without interrupting your day.
What areas do you cover?
Almost all suburbs in Auckland, whether thats South Auckland, West Auckland, The Northshore, or East Auckland, we more than likely cover your area.
Do you provide a casual service?
All CityPets dogs must come for a minimum of 2 adventures per week with us, however we provide flexible scheduling based on the days you want walks.
Do we need to provide you with a key?
It is not essential, however we do ask all clients to provide a copy of their key (or door code) to give us quick and easy access to the pups as well as giving you the freedom and flexibility to go about your day as normal.
How long will my dog be out for?
The adventures are 90 minutes long although your dog will likely be out of the house for an 3 to 6 hours depending on where the handlers walk the dogs and the traffic on the roads.
What if it's raining?
We’ll walk your dog in any weather conditions so you don’t have to! If your dog is wet or muddy, we will rinse and towel dry them, so no dirty paw prints are left in the house! If you dog is scared of thunder, please let us know so we can take action to make sure your dog is feeling as safe as possible.
What requirements must my dog have?
All dogs must be fully vaccinated, flead and wormed to attend pack walks as well as being desexed if they are over the age of one year. However if your dog is entire over a year we will determine acceptance within the pack on a case by case basis. We strongly recommend all dogs are desexed by the age of a year! A desexed dog is a happy and healthier dog! Dogs must also understand basic commands and be friendly and sociable with humans and other dogs.
What places do you take our dogs?
We take your dog everywhere. From the beaches located on the west coast of Auckland like Whites Beach & Piha to beautiful forests like Riverhead Forest.
